"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

We didn't vote him in the second time. The people voted mostly against him. He won by electoral collage votes only. At some point the sheep will wake then we will have another war, until then all we can do is stand up for what little rights we have left and try to wake them up.

Or eat mutton.... ;)

Mutton is tasty and probably tastier with that new seasoning recipe that was posted a few pages back. :drool

Good grief I leave for a couple hours & I'm 7 pages behind!

The peas I donated to St. Mary's started laying again. Jim is going tomorrow to pick up 4-5 eggs & bring them home so I can try to incubate them. Don't know if they're fertile but I'll give it a shot.

See what happens when you leave the party.

Excited that your peas are laying. The eggs may not be fertile. The last batch that I had in the incubator only 1 egg was fertile, so I hatched 1 pea (and it was sold on Sunday (thank goodness)). The others were NOT and I was sooooooooo happy.

Pic of pea eggs that were not fertile. :ya
1000

I still have 5 eggs under a duck and I plan on moving those eggs to the incubator this week to complete the incubation. I have a feeling these eggs are not fertile either and I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy if they weren't.

I had att, and I know what you mean! I got this think called "Magic Jack" that plugs into the phone line with a little connection thing between the phone and the phone outlet, for $50 and now I pay $19.95 a year for my landline, plus free long distance. Great price and even better reception on the phone than I ever got with att!

I always wondered about Magic Jack. Nice to hear about it and that it worked for you, Celie.

That's not normal!!! I would crush up some Calcium pills or yogurt, too. I have not gotten more than 1 out of 50+ eggs and just when they start laying for a week or two. I have a lot of small pieces of shells on the property, but I do feed back all the shells from the kitchen and incubator, too. I would worry about their bone development, too.

I would think if they eat the shells they may want to..you know - peck the eggs after they lay them. Can't have cannibals. HEHE

Does it matter what kind of yogurt - plain or greek?

Has anyone else noticed how wrong has been turned into right and right into wrong and what's with nature lately? It seems to be going off kilter or something ? Two eggs in one day, trees blooming out of season, fruit not ripening before it's ripe, etc., etc. etc.?

I should have added toms and roosters hatching eggs and raising the young to that list! What gives?
