Glad I didn't try "rough" yoga, the gentle yoga was challenge enough. I'm always hauling rocks and equipment and feed bags etc so I was surprised that I am weak in some areas. I'll go back. I think it will improve flexibility. Going to try Zumba too.
Zumba? Are you nuts? That would just kill me.
Best thing we ever did was convert ours to a gas log!
A lot of the ones we do, are either on an inside wall, or are "see through". I like the idea of an ash dump. Ventless fireplaces are another type we are seeing a lot, but since I'm on propane, I'm not a fan of those (the smell they add to the propane gives me a headache).
Oppps. Did I forget to say Zumba GOLD. "Gold" stands for "older" adults. I tried the regular Zumba. I have news for you you younguns out there, it's nothing but old fashioned aerobics class. Lol. Did a million of those in the day. I haven't been yet, but supposed to be toned down. I was the youngest one in my yoga class today. Lol. So I am counting on this getting easier. Lol. Since I am officially retired, no excuses, right?
Oooopppss! I should've warned you about that! My bad. Yes, I tend to have purple hands, fingernails, spots on my face - it wears off after a few days & people eventually get tired of ragging you about it...
Ya'll are too sweet! Will do.X 2! I would definitely follow it!
My hubby always says we will do this "someday". I love cooking over fire!I use my indoor fireplace in the winter,I have a lot of free oak from hurricanes. I go collect it when the Parrish trims the power lines. So free fuel. I bought a grill that slides in the fireplace and I have cast iron Dutch ovens. So I'm able to heat and cook for free three months out of the year if I'm lucky.
Well I got the largest number of eggs today from this new flock, yay! 7 from the big girls and 3 from the bantams. My hubby tells me that if I want the bantams to get broody I should leave their eggs in there.......What does he know about chickens anyway? I just figured if they want to get broody they will be staying in the box and be getting cranky with me. When I got the last egg from the bantams actually the roo was up there talking to the egg
I think he is a little of his rocker right now. When I let them out for the evening he actually came after me!!! What a little butthead!!! I scooped him up and held him upside down and he calmed almost instantly. I tucked him under my arm and continued about my business. My husband was pretty puzzled when he opened the back door to get eggs from me, and saw me with a chicken, upside down under my arm. Crazy little chicken scratched my leg! I. told him that he better behave or I would be eating some black chicken for a dinner.![]()

Yeah its called clutching up and some hens that would naturally go broody from this action may never ever set on an egg in their lifetimes if they aren't allowed to clutch up a setting and then there are the determined ones that will continuously go broody out of the blue and set on golf balls till h3ll freezes over or they die from starvation or malnutrition.
