Soo i called the ordinance place today n all they said was that chickens are frowned upon. They didnt give me a yes or no? I called about 5 months ago n they said the coop had to be 3' off the ground and it had to be roofed a d the pen had to be 3' off the ground also. So wat do i do now?
If I run it's a Jason thing...I killed it (or thought I did) and it's still coming after me! I used to run track, play football, basketball, and volleyball when I was in school. What they didn't tell me then is because of it I would no longer have proper range of motion, several surgeries, and have my body make sounds that would make you cringe. My husband would joke and put a can of WD-40 on the nightstand saying all my cracking and creeking woke him up.

i would like to build a coop to house about 6 hens. I would like to collect the eggs and have fun learning about the chickensFrowned upon? Where did you call? Let me know if you need me to meet you at that office. If I go with you, you will have all the chickens you want in your yard with no problem. I'm just saying.
You need to get everything in writing? Can you go to whatever office and get the info in writing and speak to someone directly?
What are your plans for your chickens?
