OK, THE PEEING GOLD STANDARD, someone got a grant to studying "peeing". Not in urology, a study of a problem.

Question, how long dose it take to pee? Answer: 30 sec.

From mouse to elephants, it takes 30 sec. There is a ratio in animals to size of bladder, size of the urethra, and gravity.
It his is normal bladders, not starched out or small bladders, or using extra pressure to force pee out quicker.

It is so reassuring our money helps to many questions to be answered.

I had to ask you pulled me in hook, line, and sinker. Our tax dollars at waste!!!!

This brings up something that I hope is okay to ask. I was wondering today as I cleaned up some dog pee accident. Why do male dogs pee on something, like a tree, or the leg of my chair (grrrrr)? Why is it alwYs ON something. They could lift their leg and just aim into the air. Is it something to do with aiming? Or is it hard wired to "mark" their territory. Just wondering. Do male cats lift their legs? I don't think so. Neither male bears, donkeys, rams, but they all mark.

totally marking! They just lift there leg to get your attention so you can clean it up.Pam

I wish I still had those pictures of the hickory horned devil I found a few years ago. That was a really cool, HUGE caterpillar , and very calm despite its look. I'll google an image for you guys who haven't heard of them: I had no idea what the thing was when I had found it on the porch! I doubt I'll be lucky enough to see another one anytime soon.

Yeah I have sent it to school with the nephew for show an tell it was a hit the teacher sent all kinds of documentation home with it LOL informative not cussing documents. LOL

The grow up to be Regal Moths. They only tend to be on the ground from late July to mid August when they are looking for a spot to burrow. They normally hang out in trees. I hope none come in the yard now that I have chickens. I imagine they'd be might glad to find one.

The last few days i've noticed alot of moths.Black body with a red spot and with white wings. I wonder If those big green monsters turn into the big green moths that like the ginger lilly's Pam

Male cats are built different, they spay from the back. Bears make by rubbing their scent glands, rams pee all over themself, designed to cover there breast, they will make the Dow. Dear rake the soil and pee on that, bunny's have sent glands on their face, making what is there by ,rubbing. Donkey's I do not know the answer. Raccoons pee on markers. When I go camping, I assum the wild animals have manors (except Bear). I set up rocks as making posts, the discreetly pure fresh uren on them. Male uren is best. Raccoons, coyotes and possums will stop sniff and mark over mine, They excepted my tarritory as mine. That dose not mean you leave food out, that can turn a polite critter into a gangster.

I rented a cottage were the last renters feed the raccoons and let them in the house. I put a rock in front on my steps, one at each corner and next to the house, marked it by puring uren on each marker. I sat and watched as each raccoon came up, stopped, sniffed the air, then each marker, peed on it and wondered off. After a couple of weeks no raccoon try end to come in and my new screen on my screen door remained un damaged.

That is absolutly stunning. The beauty of nature is amazing! its not the green ones that like the ginger lillys. I thought they were big now I'm downgrading them to medium size. Pam

you guy's got me rolling on the floor again! Pee a friend of mine had a problem with an armadillo digging in her flower beds, a older man told her to get her husband to pee in the holes & the armadillo would leave an not come back. Well the flower beds were of course in the front yard! So he pee in a pickle jar & poured it in the holes. We all had a good time picking on both of them about who's job it was to empty the pickle jar. But it worked armadillo moved over to the neighbor's flower bed. Thinking it would have been better to trap & relocate the silly thing.
