"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I haven't heard from Celie :( sent and message and left a voicemail. I hope she's just taking a time out at the moment from the stress of her ordeal.

Her grandbunnies have already been sold before they're weaned! for breeders instead of meat cuz they're so nice people want more lol while I know she sells them for meat, as do I, its nice when some we play with are spared the stew! Hehehe

We LOVE natural, raw honey! We only buy local, raw honey. My husband loves it in his coffee. We go through quite a lot of it. I gave my daughter honey for a sore throat once. Now she thinks it's the "cure all". Anytime she feels bad she's begging for a spoonful of honey.

Same here. I have a local person that I buy mine from and co-workers will bring me a jar every now and then because they know I have terrible allergies.

Its good for allergys. If allergic eat raw local honey and chew the comb. It helps i Know people that have done it and swear it works. Pam

I'm going to try that, I have way too many allergies.

I started eating local raw honey a few years ago and my allergies (dust, etc) are gone! It worked for me! I always keep some on hand. I put some in my tea, on my biscuits and will have 1 tablespoon a day as well.

Well, ok, Pam. I think I'm good. Possible, I could step on poo, but quite unlikely that I would then lick my feet. Lol!!!!!

THIS is good to know!!

Thank you all for your support! I only named 4 of my flock and three of those were lost today. I still find it cruel that something killed my chickens and didn't even think to eat it. It would still hurt if they were eaten, but at least I would have understood. I live far enough into the country that no one would notice a missing hawk. My father always told me it wasn't illegal unless you got caught so try hard not to get caught. I have since watched this hawk and must say there is something off about it. Today it has killed three stray cats, my birds, and tried to attack a med stray dog. It has also been what looks like hopping around on the ground quite a bit. Not a single bite from any carcass, just a snapped neck and moved on to the next. It never came back for its kill. When I put all my birds up in the old meat tractor and it killed everything else it could find, it just moved on. If I see it again it won't be visiting anyone anymore.

So sorry to hear what happened. :(

I got a PM, didn't need my 2 cents from this pat of the country. You can't please everyone. I feel nothing but warmth otherwise. Living up to that first experience over 30 years ago. I said when I first came on line on this thread, this's is were I want to live and die. Good people and good times. Tell you to your face.... I like that. I even like this person telling me to my face. That is the right way to do it. I remember we were talking about honesty and saying what you think and not hold back. That is a good thing. To take it and give it. You never know, when I get there could end up the best of friends. That is what I know of the cajun/Louisiana people. I love it.

I guess I've been gone too long. I missed what happened. :hide

Don't let her lie!!!!! She and I have been members of FLA for quite some time now!!! Wait, those groups are supposed to be anonymous.... I will apologize to Primrose1 at our next
Foot Lickers Anonymous meeting. Addictions are just SO hard to stop!!! Our breath is quite disturbing though! Maybe it is time.....
LOL!!!!!!

Can you tell, I can't get past the licking our feet comment....now all I can see is people with a yard full of chickens that are watching their owners lick the bottoms of their feet before going back inside their house! LOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
