I have started using one of the mocha bars. Oh my goodness!! It's wonderful too! First I had to convince my husband and boys that it WAS NOT A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE TO EAT!! Didn't believe until I stuck it under the kitchen faucet. Love it!

Pam, I don't see a problem with the manure.  It's not "aged", just dumped in a pile daily.  It has some pine shavings and the occasional bit of hay in it.  My tractor has a front end loader on it, not sure how much you are thinking.  Just PM me if you want and we can figure out a day/time.

Thanks, I'm ordering a worm composter I'm hoping it will meet my needs it can house up to 20000 worms and compost over a gallon a week. If that isn't enough I'll let you know. Pam

Are you getting red wigglers? I still want to try that under the bunny hutch. It's one of the projects on the list. My question: so I put a bunch of wigglers under there to compost, when I go to use the compost, I just scoop it up wigglers and all and put in the garden? Wouldn't you run out of worms if you're using the compost? JS

This system has chambers the worm castings stay at the bottom. the worms travel to the top where you put kitchen scraps,leaves, cardboard etc. When the bottom gets full you take the castings for your garden, you can also get compost tea with rain or watering some, you move the empty chamber to top and fill with scraps and start over. I have alot of worms in my yard I may use them or buy from bait shop.I'm not mail ordering worms. their are alot of vidio's on making your own. Your very handy I'm sure you could make some. I was told for 2 years my hubby was going to do it an hasn't so I had some returns from christmas to cover the cost.
