I have about decided that i want some Orps... so cute with the short legs but hearty... I have GOT to call about confirming my Black Cornish and Dominiques.. Can't wait to start hatching those babes!!! Decided to wait until I added the breeds I chose to get this hyear... but the Orps are pulling at me!! (get me, get me)

I know where Old Arcadia Rd. is. My husband and I drove down it once and came to a fallen bridge. AWESOME!!!

So, during this forced winter vacation, in regards to my husband...........................Yesterday he helped me redesign the labels for my soap. They look SO much better!!! He is so much better at designing on those programs because he has been taking classes. And now this evening he just whipped up this design scheme for a complete remodel of our coop/run. We have been discussing his "meat bird" breeding program and I guess that was the motivation for this. So far though I am still batting a big fat zero on finding the type of hens that he wants. But we are still searching and I am sure we will find it eventually.

Related to the search of the kinds of hens he would like........I was looking at what some of the hatcheries have and then decided to look up reviews on them. Daves Garden has a great section that has a place to review different hatcheries. WOW!!!!! I was pretty horrified at some of the stories on some of the hatcheries!

If he comes through with this plan It will be so awesome and I will be much more proud of the "digs" that my ladies get to live in!

I haven't heard of this but because it is such a serious condition, I would advise that it is ONLY tried out under strict doctor supervision. The reason I say this is because insulin levels can drop rapidly with little or no warning if you replace it with something else. Without insulin you will die. If you bring the research behind it to your doctor they may be willing to help you out.

I don't have diabetes, just thought I would share. Always see these "cures", but never hear of any real testimonials

That is great! We have some constant contributers on here that jump on most every day, and dont forget to look around the whole site. There is forums on every topic... if ya ever need anything though just as away!

Is that the same lady you gave me her ph #? I asked her to send me pictures of some of her Cornish hens so maybe we could get some hatching eggs or some pullets from her. I never heard back from her.
