:( no, sorry to hear about the tom, hope he's up soon
I don't think that my Tom Turkey will walk again. He has been sitting down since Friday. I will give him a few days and if there is no progress, I will have to put him down. His legs or feet or hip could be broke, injured or something more, which is why he an't walk. I don't know but I can't see him just sitting in one spot for the rest of his life. That is not the quality of life that I want for my animals. If I have to put him down, then he will be going in the freezer. He feels like he weighs about 50 lbs if not more. I"m getting upset all over again just thinking about what happened with that dog.

Leg injuries take longer then most to heal. You could try a sling to see if he even tries to stand or if he has just given up.

I have problem. I have two bars of Lemon's soap already in the shower(3 if you add my hubby's bar) that have a whole lotta uses left in them, but I want to try another kind already.......

My problem is that several people gave me soap for Christmas and the frugal in me has to use them before I can order more Lemon soap. Having to wait to order more is hard.

With his size, it would take months for him to heal. He is HUGE!!!!!!! He weighs the size of a small child. I will monitor his weight and poop and see how it goes. He would have to NOT be with the rest of the turkeys for a long time, even after he has attempted to walk and is walking almost satisfactorily. They know he is injured and they will kill him. I have seen them in action and they are walking killers. I would say that it would take 6 months if not more for him to get better.

He could be considered a horse breaking a broken leg. I'm hoping for a speedy recovery but it's not looking good.
