I have been posting this everywhere like crazy. Getting a good bit of interest for it. I am hoping for at least 20 sets of folks bringing birds. I would consider that a grand success!

What an interesting (and generous) mystery!

I sure wish some 'mystery' laying hens showed up at my place!

I'll feel better once I catch them in the act and check them over. Bio-security bothers me and the fact that they are willing to go over those high fences means that either someone doesn't care for them properly or they are wild (ran away/let loose/wild to begin with). Their eggs look fine inside and out and the nesting box doesn't show any signs of parasites but I would still like to check them for myself.

Ok so here is a pic of one of my incubated eggs. The line you see across it makes a circle n it's red, meaning blood. Found it on 3 eggs... Anyone know why is going on in there????

It's kind of hard for me to call from pictures but if you see a bold, dark red ring around the egg it is usually an indicator of bacteria.

I just wanted to know if anyone has heard from Celie? I think if it was getting her meds back she would've been back on by now. I'm worried about her health keep her in your prayers.

This is a meat breed question...Has anyone raised red rangers?
