I joined The Missippi co-op the feed train. It only saves 7.00 to 8.00 per 50 lb organic food. thats 30.00 for layer and 32.50 for grower it is soy free. I will still be actively looking for a better price and hoping to form our own co-op one day. The feed Train has a north and south drop off for any one interested. For any one in the south interested I would be willing to pick up from miss. We could get together some where to give you your feed. Their next order is March 6. You can find them on Face Book I will say the 7 to 8 dollars adds up over time. Pam

Did you train your own service dog or get him from an organization?

i've thought about this as I age with my injurded neck. Most working dogs are herding except police and trained protection dogs. I don't know what classifation a tracking or search and rescue would be all of that is done by volenteering. Some make money tracking during deer season. When I took a coruse with Buck Most of the class was hunters, one lady had land she used for a hunting club she would charge to track deer that were shot or during bow season had ran farther then the hunter could find or keep up.. She and her dog would find for a fee or trade for meat. Three of us were their for search and rescue Pam

When Ernie was only a few months old he would not listen to me. He would persist in trying to tell me something. In about 20-30 minutes I would get the first worming sign. I had anywhere from 1 sec. To 5 minutes before an attack, to take my meds. I had to lay down for a min of 2 hours, no maximum, could a day or more. The third time I tried an experiment, I took my meds. About 5-10 min later Ernie would become a good boy again. I was going to not take meds the fourth time, but fear of the pain and the problems resulting from taking several hours out of my day, I never did.

In 2011 I took a sabbatical, 8 mo was in San Diego, I loved it because I could eat out without fear, I may have an attack. I lived all my life knowing this. They have so many out door dinning area's. She had a service dog. She told me I could have him as a service dog and what I needed to do. I had to take him to obedience school. I am responsible for his public behavior. He is now registered as a service dog. I am afraid that today he may not past all the tests. He has been stepped on, things have dropped on him, carts have run into him, assaulted my children coming down on him unexpectedly. Most kids are no problem, but you know not all parents are good parents. So now some things frighten him, such as raining plates and trays, load noises. He is 10 now.

Before I came back and needed to make adjustments to grounds for aireal attacks from the ground (hopped on ground low like a chicken through netting to get to chicks and than out that way when I saw it :( ug). I was happily gardening, introducing Blue and her adoptees outside to the garden (ohhhh mama missed the dirt!)
Off to do some clean up!

My pom would alway jump all over one of my friend. especialy around her breast ,underarm area. I kept telling her he doesn't do that to anyone else I had sucppisions, she said he just liked her more B/c she was an animal lover. I thought he kmew something we didn't. He did she had Stage 4 breast cancer.
Now I have a feeling my female German shepard knows what Hepatitas C and liver cancer smells like. I hurt my foot badly when she was a pup. I was in a wheele chair to many back prolblems for crutches. So I sent her to a trainer who was recomened by a friend. He was abusive to his wife and my dog who had cut her neck with a choke chain. I wanted to hang him by a chok chain. Any way come to find out he was a wife beater and alocholic with hep C . I was glad I had a bad feeling and picked her up early. Well we have a friend who drinks everybay. She will bark at him everytime he comes over without stop. I think she smells liver problems she assocates it with the cruel trainer so she doesn't like him. Sometimes I get dizzy from a pinched nerve and stenous. When I'm around her she has jumped on me and pushed me in a chair. Then I got dizzy so she knows when it will happen. I have wanted to find out more about how to go about having a service dog.

Hi everyone. My internet didn't let me get on BYC for a bit there but it's working right now. Hopefully it stays that way!

For those of you unaware it has been a very trying last couple of days. My pigmy goat Lola had her babies the day before yesterday and yesterday one of the twins, the smaller doe I had named Eclipse was unable to thrive and despite fighting tooth and nail for her life I lost her.

She was the little black one and her life was brief as an eclipse she was named for.

Her brother is doing well still, and I'm grateful for that.
