Good Afternoon Chicken Folks!! I have had my daily chicken inspection done

Spoiled kiddos! The lovely Prim (our Southern Grandma!) stopped by today and brought goodies for the kids! Thank you so much! Lily has a bear she has named Cinderella and pink bedding for her princess room she loves that furry blanket! Jj has been working on these number workbooks since you left and made me hastily hang up his sports pictures and make his bed lol thank you means so much more than a new toy, they are enthralled and while may not be too legible, are working on thank you notes (picture maybe lol) all on their own.

I lost a bunny yesterday a baby almost weaned to heat we believe
We have 3 large fans trying and today I laid out large frozen milk jugs and they laid next to-on top of and covered each jug with bunnies
Looks like we are going to use our savings to buy a super barn fan that came highly recommended.
We can't have them suffer and we can't have our stock die. We took a lot of love, time and money and put it into carefully selecting breeders and building a rabbitry, we have to keep them alive!
Just ranting. Mad we wasted $ on 3 ok fans only to find out one awesome one will do the job. This learnin curve sucks. Lol

Sorry, honey, I do understand. I have my handyman coming to complete the coop for my babies tomorrow. They are in the storeroom (uninsulated) and even with A/C and a fan it was 104. I was steady spraying them down and putting ice out. I have 10 in a large brooder and the 2 babies and 1of the other ones in a small container. I put a cup of ice in the middle of it and they just stand around loving it. The others laid on the zip bags of ice and melted it. They made it through the day. That's all I can say. Miserable. Payday is tomorrow night. hmmmmm

Omg omg Omg we have a babysitter for our anniversary! We NEVER go out, always working, no family here, we need a grown up time out and get one august 2nd! Soooooo excited, hubby wants to do a picnic on a beach! Alone! Woot woot! Been literally years since an alone date!

In chicken news I booted ALL 95 chicks out to pasture lol well out to let nature brood in a coop for another week outside! No more brooder 2xs a day cleaning!

And my garage chickens...I thought because of combs I had a roo (shy/new/not crowing?) And a hen. But the "rooish" one squats for me now huh. Do submissive roos squat? Or is it a hen?

Also, the rooish garage chicken is an awesome mouser!
