Hello, I'm originally from LeBleu [Iowa, LA] area. City was getting too close, I figured I had to move further east to stay in the country! So we moved to the Lacassine /Welsh area where many of the roads are still gravel. I love it!!!!

Picked up where I left off raising French Blue Copper, French Black Copper, French Wheaten and English Cuckoo Marans, along with English Buff, Lavender, Black, Blue, Splash, Chocolate Orpingtons, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte's and Gold Laced Wyandotte's and Cochin Standard Breed

Just started on Cochin Bantams several varieties. and Black Japanese Bantams

Glad to see others from Louisiana on here. I wasn't sure if there was anyone else from the state.

Well, I am trying to get a laying/breeding flock together of heritage RIR's and this just happened to be what is available right now. I will probably pick my 2 favs to keep and cull the rest. They are about 11 weeks old right now.
