I have cream legbars their eggs are green or blue. They are darker than easter egger eggs. They start out the size of amercuna eggs but get bigger as they get older. If you bought them from a hatchery they are most likely easter eggers. If thats the case if the egg has more pigment its from the legbar. If the egg was laid at 6 months or older its the legbar. The easter eggers lay eariler. If you want CCL and don't have them I will have hatching eggs or chicks soon. I'll be gone tomorrow I have australorpes if you want to post a pic we can help you identify it. or I can post a pic for you. Pam
Would that be a child or a lamb? This is who I have the eggs coming from. Hopefully we have success with them.
In other news my husband said we may have to sell a kid to pay for chickens. Haha! And we had chicken for dinnerYum!![]()

Hello everyone, I'm new to BYC , live on the West Bank of New Orleans and am thinking about hatching out a few eggs. I would like some wyandottes; if anyone knows about some local hatching eggs I would appreciate a point in the right direction. If no locals, maybe a tip on a good online seller/shipper would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
Sorry, I totally ripped this off to post on other threads. Didn't even give you credit. My bad.I LOVE THIS!![]()

Pam, I didn't know you had australorps too! One of my original biddies from the feed store I think is an australorp. She's my daughter's favorite. I don't know if she's true, or not; the guy had RIRs, buff orpingtons, and australorps all running around together. But Twilight (the suspected BA) doesn't look very mixed to me. Her "sister" Herkey is definitely a mix, but so striking and pretty. Herkey's black feathers have the BA shimmery green/lavender.
