What kind of ameraucana? I would love to see pictures of those and the seabrights. Such cute breeds.

I just candled my bantam amerucana eggs. I AM HAVING TWINS! in all of my hatches I have never encountered this before. I'm scared because it's already a bantam egg. I can blatantly see to embryos and completely looks different than the other eggs. I think I can even see a membrane difference. All I know is i see 2 moving embryos in one bantam egg... what do I do? Omgesssess

I've heard of it and if you look on Youtube there are a few videos. Here is one from a lady here on byc.

I wouldn't worry about getting them out before it's been over two days. They will be fine. They are designed to go that long without eating for the rest of the clutch to hatch. Mamma wouldn't take them off before then if they were naturally incubated. That's what the yolk is for!

Ok. Thank you Buggles.

The chicks decided it for me. Two more have hatched.

Pam one of yours is out. Took about an hour, I missed the whole thing. A second has pipped.

:D  I think about eight, your legbar has pipped and there's others pipping also. All four pullet eggs from coastline hatched.
I'm super excited about this breed. :woot

I love mine! They are super sweet and so handsome . I hope the Legbar is a poullet because you only have the one. Pam

I saw this on the 24 hour sell thread and thought, Man, that's some shipping. ha

Just got my eggs today from Free2BMe2798. It is the penultimate Fort Knox of packing!
It's a box with inner reinforcement, newspaper cushion, inner box and then individual foam cozies for each egg.

Just about bulletproof. Not a single egg broken!
Great packing and great auction... Thanks!
