"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

The good news is the farm innovators is working without issue. I desperately hope I can hatch those 4 eggs from my olive egger Annabelle because of the bad news.... She is in serious trouble. When I let them out for the day she had a weird waddle so I scooped her up and he has a really severe prolapse and is egg bound. It's bad. I mean really, really bad. I'm not sure if we can save her.

Good luck with the eggs buggles.

oh yes. The hatching addiction is a very real thing. I hatched for a year straight! The only way I was even able to keep myself in check over the last year was to forsake BYC until I was in a position where it wouldn't be really foolish to keep hatching. As soon as I saw chick pics again I couldn't help myself anymore. Now I have another batch going. lol  P.s. You're numbers aren't that bad yet, it can get much worse. ;)

lol... did i mention i have 2 full incubators and barbanter eggs on the way, lol
my next big hatch will be my Duccle bunch. I have 28 duccle half standard and half cochin mille flur... i just love mille flurs

Are you advertising them on any of the Facebook poultry sales pages. Lots of people like Cochin and the Ameraucana. People love those green eggs. And I do not think you should sell them cheap if they are good quality healthy birds. Then it can help pay your feed bill!

where would i advertise? What would i search on FB For this. I would live to... in my small town there are not many people buying the chicks. I get many orders of my eggs. Let me know please, thx a million

There are quite a few Louisiana based poultry/farm pages. I will get some links and post them. You will have to join most of them, some are public. And then when you post just try to remember that if you post info like location, price, age and even pictures it helps cut down on excess questions and can help things sell.

Ok, I think this is most of the ones I have listed. Just make sure to read the rules of each group. Some are more active than others, but don't be afraid to post in a group that doesn't seem to be in your area or very active. You sometimes still get people looking from other areas.

The Cochins International page. I read this one just to keep learning about the breed.

This one is not necessarily a sale group, but there are many LA people in it.
