Oh Terri I meant to post earlier that I let the babies out yesterday. The RIR roolet is a spitfire! He's the only one who stands up to the guineas. He's also the only one who will eat from my hand; when he sees me he runs right over and follows me around!

I'm hoping he grows into a kind and gentle boy for the flock.

Oh that's wonderful! I loved my RIR roos - they were the gentlest roos I've ever raised of all the many breeds I had. They were all caring & protective of the hens.

LOVE the new coop! Congratulations!
