"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hi fellow Louisiana layer peeps. I'm in Hammond, La. Thanks Pam and others who welcomed me, in older posts.
I have a mixed flock. I'll share more about them, later but am looking for a Sulmtaler rooster for my 3 hens. By the way... Sulmtalers are so are big...is it normal for mine to lay small cream/white eggs? I may hatch some mixed to butcher/process...be interesting since a big Silkie mixed rooster is their favorite companion! I would like to be able to hatch pure chicks because i heard the Sulmtaler is the best tasting chicken then I heard Breese! Maybe need some Breese, now
!
I have really enjoyed my birds the past 3 years....hard to believe that they have so much personality and are so fun!

Oh, i hand-raised a peacock. ..thought it was hen but now I'll need to find him new home or hurry to get some young gals to raise with him. He's about 5 months old and I am concerned he could hurt my hens, whenever he is ready to actually try to breed. His first dance was ridiculous. ...displaying for my tiniest 1/2 Serama, 1/2 Silkie chick, who couldn't of been less impressed. Thankfully, he has not yet jumped anyone!

I enjoy my birds also

I have some Breese eggs in my incubator. Cant wait to see how this breed interacts with my other chickens. Was just given a goose egg from a friend's Mom to try out in my incubator. I asked her, "what am I going to do with a goose?" to which she replied, "well, you can eat it"
