got up with the chickens thismorning, I love waking up to rooster crowing. So I figured what the heck, I got out of bed got dressed and chilled outside with the chickens for awhile. Only problem is the chickens and my dog all decided to get up earlier than normal..

not to mention all three Roosters crowing, one hen was singing her (I layed an egg song) and didnt lay no egg. what gives

Gonna make some phone calls for crates as soon as I get enough caffine in me.

what the heck here we go I'm gonna do one more rain dance

just one more day of rain would be nice.

YES! scored big again today. After calling 6 glass company's and 2 machinery companies no one had solid wooden crates. All though come to find out one girl that I talk to all the time at one glass place said her and her husband use to have chickens and rabbits. She said they still have there cages and would ask him if they want to sell any and would call me. However I did hit up a Kabota Dealer and left with one of those crates that are just a frame. All four panels are about 4 foot high, two are about 8'long and two are about 6'long.
I think I'm gonna wrap it with chicken wire and make a grow out pen for when I start hatching my game chicks.. Im getting my two sweater hens this weekend hopefully.
