I had some kind of intestinal infection or something like that. I'm better, still not 100% but at least I feel like normal now!! I spent 2 1/2 days in bed and trust me that was enough!! Thanks for asking!!

Whisky Bay that is so ridiculous about your paperwork!

I am definitely going to thin my flock down; I need to reduce my feed bill esp. since I will be joining the ranks of the unemployed as of the 29th of this month, so if anybody wants a trio of my black Ameracaunas or a trio of Welsummers let me know! The Ams are, let's see, 3 months old now & the Wellies are a month old and yes, I can sex them (well, about 95% on the Ams at this point) so if you want just girls I can do that. Extra roos can always go to freezer camp. PM me w/an offer!

I wonder why the person who lost this animal, didn't post anything. They have access to the internet as evident by their email to me. I googled their name in my area and no name came up but then again, that really doen't mean anything. I will be going around to the the neighborhood and ask if anyone knows this "person" and see what info I get. If this person doesn't live a few miles from me then it's a NO GO.

Could a duck have walked 3 miles or more away from home? It can't fly AT ALL. What do ya'll think?

If your husband kills you then you won't be able to take care for this duck.

Well this is the only current picture I have of them, and it's terrible! They are wet, muddy, and in molt. I can't think of a worse combination! It was taken last week after a good rain storm. I brought the whole flock a treat of chicken scratch which they devoured. My splash gander is smooth breasted and really nice looking. My curly breasted gander is going to be retired this year. I think I have enough ganders to replace him that are better stock. He is a great pet though, so we won't be getting rid of him. I would still like to find one more colored gander for next breeding season so we will see how it goes. The gosling with them is a little gander, so hopefully he will fill out nicely. He was my last one to hatch.

I believe I emailed you some pics of the youngsters last month Twiley. I need to get some updated ones. Two of the youngsters are not very happy with me right now after I taped their wings. They started looking like they wanted to get angel wing, so they are running around in pink zebra vet wrap

I have a couple of really nice blue females that I am excited about. I can't wait to see how they fill out this fall.

Gosh, they are all big, except of course for the baby one. Geese grow so fast! I'll have to go back through my emails to look for the pictures. I forgot that you had sent me some pics. Thanks! I'm still trying to pair mine up so I don't know what I'll end up with. BTW, Mike is the guy I told you about that we had arranged to swap birds but then I didn't hatch but one that I could trade. So, I'm still trying to uphold my end of the bargain.

I look forward to lots of trading going on next year.

I also had to wrap the wings of a couple of mine because they seemed to be doing wierd stuff. If you catch it when they are growing you can easily correct those things in 2 - 3 days. If you wait until they're older it's too late. I think sebbies are just prone to funky wings.
