Wow I actually put my LG bator in the house on the bottom of our backers rack. My wife didn't even say anything! Well I have two sets of eggs being set on by two hens. 4 eggs are day 10 I was worried bout 2 of those and just candled and had movement in all 4 just gonna leave them alone. Well I have 6 eggs under another hen today is day 2 and today I noticed she wasn't really setting on them just hovering maybe she was hot. I think I'm gonna turn the bator on over night till I get temp right and put those 6 eggs in it.

I feed the Purina gamebird starter,flight conditioner,and layer.$17 bag I give a few handfuls of Scratch grains as 'come to mommy' treats in the afternoon.Along with fresh fruits everyday,as we eat lots of fruits and veggies.At least a cantaloupe a day and 2-3 watermelons a week...lol....plus anything from the garden we don't use or send down to the church.They get plenty of rice too....lol..They are getting ridiculous about feed prices lately...
 
I fed Purina feed for years but switched about a year ago due to prices.
I get my feed from a local feed store and the brand is Home Grown. It's as
good as any Purina feed I ever fed and the prices are okay.
I feed all of my you birds Turkey stater/grower at 30% protein and the layer
get laying crumbles that are 10.00/50lbs. Oh the turkey feed is 13.00/50lb sack.
Whiskey Bay..you are still having problems with that nutjob over there?

If you're concerned about too much volume, you can always look at pygmys or dwarfs. That way you can get 2 females, so they have company and it'll take them a bit more time to eat everything. It is unbelievable how fast they go through the brush. Mine cleared out the property and were then costing so much to feed that I had to sell them. Mine were young and I hadn't bred them yet, so I cant really input about the milk.

Drama so mcuh drama I just truthfully don't understand people like that!! I swear they have nothing better to do with their time!!
