Well, good mawnin' there susnshine and the rest of the La-yers and no I'm not just getting up now, been up since 4:30 the dogs were after another critter, so I'm taking a breather for a minute and grabbing me a bowl of cereal 'fore getting back at it again figured I'd better grab me a snack cause the next job(butcher 4 rooster) will run me over for lunch and sometimes has the tendencey to curb ones appetite

for sometime afterwards.

Maybe tonight I can get pics up of what one of my LIVE traps captured the other night.

I know what you mean I started a z-pack last Friday and still today not a 100%.
I was sick last two weekend and had 0 productivity as for as chicken projects. I really have to get some things done this weekend.

I have a question about processing... I know they shouldn't eat 24 hours before, what about water? I'm going to give it a whirl this weekend. I want to get rid of all these roosters & maybe get myself a couple of rare colored Orpingtons to replace them

give 'em the water, first i think it will help flush them out, secondly in the heat we've been having you could end up with chicken jerky!!!

no seriously, i would give them the water, it will help flush the crop and intestines, kinda of like we do for folks before a colonoscopy.
