WHOA!!!! Did you see that? I just tripped over my own Awesomeness...
agghhh never mind...it was a pile of horse poop....

Hey wat are those little ones they are sOo cool looking
What are those birds? they are beautiful! I like the one in the 2nd pic best.
Those are Old English Game Bantams (OEGB)... They were my original breed of hobby choice. Then I found out about the rainbow of Orpingtons...lol.. The first one is a color variety I produced myself.I started with a birchen Cockerel and Self Blue (Lavender) pullets. He was my end result... I never got a pic of the pullets, they weren't where I wanted them to be yet. The second one is a BB Red from Lizana and Ladner(Old Earl Fayard lines),and The third obviously is a white, from the same breeders.
The Supervising was yesterday and she was VERY disproving of the tidal wave going through her dern back yard. She probly had Katrina flashbacks too!!!
We don't have to worry about skiunks around here. Not 10 miles north is a different story. They most probly here, just have never 'run' across one near the house...lol..
I don't really have to worry about varmins round here(even though we have a few hundred acres nature conservancey behind us,because I believe they all know my oldest boy has the traps set and sets out with the gun every evening waiting on the coyotes to come in...but they never get within 100 feet or where he can get a good shot.Plus, for the lil varmins... What ya think they'd do if they come trekking across the chicken yard and stumbled on one or TWO huge Dane pups? Yeahhh...6 mos old and she is over 100# he is about 90-95# They are almost 2/3 of Steve's size...
I'm up and at em early this morning...hehehe... Chickens bombarded me coming through the back and Steve was cuttin flips for his food.
