That's what I'm expecting. We went for the fitness pretest last week. Had to run 1.5 miles at high noon down that stinking levy. Talk about hot! At least I am going with 2 other girls from our office. Somebody to share the pain with!

I love to look at banana spiders. Whatever that is, keep him over there. I don't want another creepy species to add on to the "I'm Scared of List". You know I have issues with my OCD.

Keep me posted on if you get any drama today.

I like banana spiders too. As a kid, I was facinated with them and their web spinning abilities. I used to catch other bugs and throw them into the spider's web so that I could watch them pounce on the bug and wrap it up in silk. I know, that was pretty mean but it was so interesting.

My neighbor from down the road woke me up with a knock on the door. He was looking for chickens. I told them I am sold out for this year. I am not selling any chickens My hen/rooster ratio is where it should be. The guy also wanted to know if I needed some hay (Front door service, ya can't beat that). He will sometime drive over and deliver the round bales to me. We will barter with the ducks. It works out. I told him that I needed some hay but I didn't have any money on me and I needed to go to the ATM. He said not to worry about it, we can square it off another time and that he would deliver the bales of hay.

Had another knock at the door. This was a picker (anyone watch that show) who wanted to know if I wanted to sell the wagon wheels I have. I initially bought the wagon wheels to put on the chicken house but have not put them on there yet. I told him that I would have to think about it and call him later. He wanted $25.00 for 1 wheel.

Then had ANOTHER knock on the door for someone wanting some eggs.

I guess I better just get up and not try to take a nap. Too many knocks on the door.

I was outside in the chicken yard and I picked up one of the waterers that I had been meaning to wash and store and there were some worms under it. What kinda worms would that be that would be under a wet area? Anyone know the name? And is this kind of worm good for the chickens to eat? Should I start a compost pile with these worms?
 
Finally done outside. I built two 4x4 dome drop pens and worked in the yard. Going with my wife and daughter to go eat out and go do some quick shopping. I got a headache from the heat. Been drinking plenty water. The heck with dat heat I did enough for the weekend I'm staying inside tomorrow
