"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Good morning La-yers -- a bright and chilly one here! My Welsummer chicklets are growing like bad weeds. I'll have to move them out of my utility room this weekend into a larger space.

Malcolm was scampering around the kitchen like a puppy this morning, playing with a ball - it's so good to see him getting over his ACL surgeries and feeling better - now the hard part of keeping him relatively quiet for the four more weeks of healing ahead! We still have 2 more Adequan injections to go - he gets one every Friday, but he's off of all other medications.

We decided yesterday to close the office from next Thursday until the following Thursday.

I'll take that!

Glad to hear that Mal is doing good. I hope he makes a full recovery.

How are the new hatchlings?

Good for you with the office closure.

Good morning La-yers! It's cold outside.

I put some turkey eggs in the incubator. I am doing an experiment with some of the turkey eggs that were placed in the fridge. I took them out of the fridge and put in the incubator. I am VERY curious to see if they will hatch from being in the fridge. Has anyone ever experimented with this before? I figure that a woman can freeze her eggs, so why can't a turkey hen's eggs be refrigerated. :gig We'll find out in 28 days.

Have a good day La-yers!

That's an interesting experiment! I've ready where people have incubated fertile eggs from the store & they hatched & I assume those were refrigerated - so - will be fun to see what happens!

So my boss calls out (her office is in the back) "I see Jim outside" (where we all park) so I go to unlock the back door but then the UPS girl came in & the phone rang -- finally I got off the phone & UPS cleared out & meanwhile Jim came in the front.

I asked what he was up to & he said "going shopping. I needed to get some sizes".
Well, that got my attention! Shopping! Sizes? Rings? Shoes? Clothing?"

He said, "tires. You need two new tires for your car".

What a letdown.

I excited about it and I can't wait. I have all of the refrigerated eggs marked with a F and others that I collected have the date on it. If this works, then you know what I'm thinking next? Store PEA EGGS in the fridge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then again, maybe not. Those eggs are priceless and I wouldn't want to mess them up.
