Good morning La-yers -- a bright and chilly one here! My Welsummer chicklets are growing like bad weeds. I'll have to move them out of my utility room this weekend into a larger space.

Malcolm was scampering around the kitchen like a puppy this morning, playing with a ball - it's so good to see him getting over his ACL surgeries and feeling better - now the hard part of keeping him relatively quiet for the four more weeks of healing ahead! We still have 2 more Adequan injections to go - he gets one every Friday, but he's off of all other medications.

We decided yesterday to close the office from next Thursday until the following Thursday.

I'll take that!

Yes Strombergs is a drop shipper, no sense in paying a middle man when you can get the chicks directly from the breeder. The Exhibition line chicks they sell are bred by reknown breeder Duane Urch and if you want them, you can contact Duane directly and order them at $7.00 a chick rather than the $8.80 that Strombergs charges when they resell them.

Speaking of Ameraucanas...who was it that had an interest in hatching the Lavender Ameraucanas? A couple of my girls are laying (and are separated in a breeding pen) so I have a few eggs for you if you still want them. I have a terrible memory...

I will let you know Mike. I will keep everyone posted on the thread. I have 6 refrigerated eggs in there. I didn't want to use too many, so out of those 6 refrigerated eggs at least half should be fertile.

No I wont ever quit breeding Ameraucanas. Right now I have some lav and some black eggs a few extra lav roos and and a few extra split lav roos and hens also am working on paint ameraucanas now. I will be hatching AMs in first of January Will have blacks,blues.lavs,and wheaton this spring
