Not bad. Weekly egg orders are about that much, so in a few weeks, that sounds do-able.I tried the refrigerator with the incukits, and it was a total disaster! I couldn't get the temperature any lower than about 118 degrees!Nice! What ever happened to the refrigerator idea? Oh on the ducks...10 -15 each! Thanks, ChrisI tried 2 different incukits, and had the same problem with both. I figured my sebbie eggs were too valuable to experiment with, so I just bit the bullet and ordered this one! So glad I did!
It took about 4 weeks for mine, but it was worth the wait! He asks for a $200 deposit to start on it with the rest due when he ships. GO FOR IT!I contacted him about one of those incubators, too. There is a 4 week wait at this point. I haven't gone ahead yet and handed over the dough and told him to get after it. Going to the DeRidder swap this weekend, so maybe I can sell some chicks to help cover it.
