Yep Gracie's step dad got the Buff....I decided that I wanted to stay with-in the American Class. I'm in line to get White Rocks from Matt but I don't know when that's going to happen. He might not sell them to me now after this last show, lol! I was giving him a hard time about that right after the show. He is a good guy....we have been texting back and forth all day today! To tell you the truth...I need to build some more pens anyway so I'm not in to big of a hurry to get them anyway.
Yes, I bounce a lot of stuff off Matt all the time as well as Bob B. They have both helped me a bunch in the last year. I told Matt this morning that we are organizing a group in this area to put on some nice shows and he already told me that we can count on him coming so that's a big plus right off the bat!!!

Here are my sweet Ladies! We've gotten 9 eggs since Monday! Totally excited! In fact, they warmed right up to us. I walk out now to see them and they all come up to the fence or the door to the coop to greet me.
It has been a sweet few days having our first set of hens. We are thinking maybe next year getting chicks.

She is good! We had to bring her to the Dr's a couple times for blood work and we have to go again tomorrow just so the Dr can see her and put her on the scale but she is good!!!
I gave some babies to this lady once! She is located here in Lake Charles!Does anyone know of anyone in South Louisiana who re-habs opossums? I found a dead mama and some dead babies on the side of the road but 2 were still alive. We picked them up and put them in a field. People were trying to run over them and I couldn't see that happening to them. I know a opossum is a predator but those babies were so cute. It took everything out of me to leave them there.
If anyone knows any re-habbers, please let me know.
