Don't you have a discrimination policy over there?

Guess the turkeys missed the memo!

I started 3 buckets of fermented feed last night . We will see what happens........
I'm going to have to do this outside! I think the husband would divorce me if I were brewing chicken food in the laundry room!

It has a LOVELY smell. Smells like a nice salad dressing in there. :drool I wasn't sure if I put in enough water. The directions said to add water until it was soupy. What's soupy? :idunno

Rain rain rain & the HEAT just came on!

"Soupy" --- is what my front, side and back yards look like right now -- especially out where they plowed the fields!

I started some fermented feed yesterday also & I put enough water to just cover the top. I also started my own batch of vinegar with the 'mother' this morning.

Now I'm going to use up some surplus eggs to make an angelfood cake!

I wonder if it's too late to add water. Mine didn't have any water covering the top. My "soupy" looked like some watery grits. I will have to figure out cups to water, so that I will know next time.

I have read about people making their own vinegar. I will have to look that up. Just what I need. Another profect. :/

Angelfood cake sounds delicious.
