Happy Monday all. Congratulations on all the varmint hunting! I had to set out rat traps yesterday - dang scavengers

Cadjien_De_Louisiane - Happy birthday! Great looking roo you've got there.

My little rescue duckling is doing well. He's 3 weeks old now and has been "adopted" by the 3 Silkie chicks who are around 7 wks old and Ginger, a buff Silkie that is 12 weeks old. He's imprinted on Ginger and is so cute following her around. She's being a good "mom" even at her young age and really looks out for him. Over the weekend he discovered water is for more than drinking. I was such a proud momma when he took his first swim in the little tub of water.

Here's Skittles and his adopted family.

Hey, what's this?

Passes the taste test.

Geronimo!

That was fun.

Woohoo!!! I can swim!

I use to eat muscovy eggs every now and then when I use to have them. I don't remember then tasting much diff than chicken eggs, but it's been a while. Seems like I can remember them always having deep rich orange yolks, even if they haven't been on fresh grass for a while. I kinda miss have muscovies. Good eating

The muscovy meat is delicious!
