THATS what I forgot when I was out!! Grrr!! Way too much on this Mommas plate the last few days. This too shall pass.


I bought a couple of watermelons from an old guy on the side of the road. Nice oldie. Wouldn't you know one got dropped on the way in the house. I was going to keep them for a few days before sharing with some family. BUT, now its watermelon time. The hens even got some already. Happy hens.

And I think that the last 2 roosters that we don't want to keep have a new home. Yipee!!

Hope you all are staying cool. It HOT here! But I don't mind it too much. The cold is what kills me.

decided to sell my chickens and chicks. I have 15 laying hens and a rooster (13 welsummers, 1 speckled Sussex and 1 mix, rooster is welsummer). I will take 8 bucks a piece,must take all. I also have 37 welsummer chicks about 2 months old will sell for 5 bucks a piece. Located in new Iberia/ Broussard area.

I googled it. It is a water mocison. Sorry for the spelling. And that's what my hubby said it was. We don't even live near water. I live in town. I HATE SNAKES! !!!!
