I was out last night in the chicken yard and I looked back and this is what I saw, so I had to grab my phone and take a pic. The eyes are really creepy looking. The duck numbers have creeped up on me. I didn't realize that I had so many ducks total. The count last night was 110 muscovy ducks.

The eggs are suppose to ship Saturday and they are only coming from a few hours away in TX as opposed to the last few from California. I am spending more this time so I really hope and expect to hatch some this go around. I'm not even sure the last 5 were fertile. I could see one was not for sure. :duc

The ones I ordered didn't hatch either. Come to find out they were x rayed even though the box was clearly labeled not to. I got brave and cracked them open and all 16 looked like they had been scrambled.

If you weren't in the pasture, they would stand at the fence and call to you. The only problem, was when they got older, they would want to play with me like they played with each other. This meant biting, and rearing up to paw at me. It was fun working on their manners. Nothing like running across the pasture on foot with six babies trotting after me, wanting to play. I'm sure I provided the neighbors with a lot of entertainment.

Thank you! I don't own them. I have the mothers full time, for the past 4 years. Each year, the babies ship to their owner in Idaho when they are about 6 months old. They grow there for a year and then come back to me for about a week before they go to sale. They then go on to become race horses. It has been one of the best jobs I've ever had. The mares are really a part of our family.

Lol. That that's what my husband tells me I'm turning our farm into. "the Funny Farm"
We have cows, horses , dogs, I just got my chickens :yiipchick this year and now I'm working on goats and rabbits. :bun
Now that song is stuck in my head I'm goons have to find the movie now.

I'm horse crazy myself. I've always had horses and cows. I used to barrel race but I've gotten into sorting the last 2 years. This is my main man
