"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

You're welcome. I just sent the link to "you know who" and told him to get busy. ;) I think I have decided on a simple chicken tractor. I found one online . It's simple enough for me to build alone. (i think)
Well KuntryGirl, your reference to "you know who" makes you sound as mysterious as the other woman in someone's life ! All this mysterious talk has got my imagination going ! Hmmmmm, I am very good at solving puzzles and it's a good thing we can all keep secretes, as well as all being crazy? Right ? :D
[COLOR=000000]Howdy La-yers! We had frost at the edge of the field this morning. I had to break out one of my winter sweaters to wear to work. Now if only the pecans would start falling
This is my favorite time of the year, too! :love Spring and fall are great for me, but I don't do winter or summer well.
I picked my first yellow lemon! So its not far off. My blood oranges are just getting a lighter green now. That's cool! I have even started drinking a bit of water with a teaspoon of the Braggs in it. My friend swears by it and has convinced me to do it. Its now as bad as I thought it would be, lol.
I put ACV on my salads and use it in my Italian dressing, but straight, it makes me pucker! :tongue
Yep, the only good coon is a deed coon, IMO, but who was it that thought rehoming a hand full of baby coons or possums, was a good idea? Wasn't that you, KuntryGirl ? :old
:yuckyuck :lau Welllllllllllllllllll, since you asked (*clears throat*), yes I do walk around with a sidearm strapped to my hip AND thigh AND ankle. I have to be ready for anything and at any time. I keep 1 fire arm (loaded) and ammo in the feed storage room and I can get to it within 2 minutes of seeing my target and another fire arm and ammo at the back door in the house in the kitchen. If I want to turn it into a hide and seek game and want to give the target a chance to get away so that I can find it and take it out, then I will run (running makes it more exciting) in the house to get the fire arm that is propped up against the wall in the kitchen at the back door. It's always fun every now and then to play a game a cat and mouse (with of course me being the cat). ;) The fire arm at the back door is also used for 2 legged creatures who chose to venture off onto the krazy chicken lady's property and who have psychotic/hallucinating thoughts that they are about to attack and harm a sweet little quiet well mannered girl like me ;) . This situation turns into "Since you're coming to harm me, I"m gonna harm you" kinda game. This allows me to do a covert operation and roll around on the ground and crawl into my bunker to hide and then crawl right out and climb into my kitchen window to grab "Big Bertha" only to climb right out of the kitchen window back into my bunker to sit and wait for the target and to shoot them in the knee so that I can detain them and beat the day lights out of them while waiting on the Sheriff to arrive. :D I"m ALWAYS ready. ;) :gig
I don't go to all that intrigue, I just have my AK47 with night vision scope beside my bed and both barns are visible from my window, so I do not even have to put on a robe. I am often why I have a rifle on the porch, right outside the front door? Aren't you afraid someone will use it to break in and rob you or hurt you? I leave it there exactly for that purpose, because it doesn't work, but the ones I keep inside, do !;)
My "you know who" is my slave that I purchased about 5 years ago. He is held captive in my basement and I only let him out to build things. After that, he goes back into the basement. I don't talk about him too often for fear that I may be arrested for holding someone captive (kidnapping). If the authorities get wind of what I'm doing, I'm busted. :gig Yes, I did reference the baby opossums. People were just running over them in the street. That's not a fair game. You have to wait until they grow up and have a fighting chance in the cat and mouse game. A baby can't run away but an adolescent and an adult can. You gotta make it fun. :)

I don't get my gun carrying permit until next week. How did you get your's so fast?

Who says that I have one? My psychiatrist refused to fill out the necessary paperwork (stemming from the fire thing) that I needed in order to secure a permit. So, until I can pass the psychological part of the test, I'm shooting without one. :lau

Well guys. It was bound to happen. Start sending my daughter to play dates and now she's got critters in her hair. ................................................................................................................................................ ............................................................................................................................... ............................................................................................................. ............................................................................................... ................................................................................... ...................................................................... ............................................................ .................................................. ........................................ .............................. .................. ......... ;)
WHAT THE HECK???????!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Peeps. Hope that everyone is having a "chilly" morning this morning.

I had another interesting night last night but it was an "easy" target shooting night. This poor little fella didn't have a fighting chance. I kinda felt sorry for him for a quick second. When I popped him, he flew up in the air and ran off to die. Oh well. NEXT !!!

Started my Satsuma wine last night. I have 15 gallons going.

SEE???? This is why you need a dog or two. I have no problems with "critters" other than the neighbor's dog. Think about it!! A nice catahoula/ catahoula mix. Maybe Jeff could hook you up with something. His dogs were beautiful.

That wine looks great! Just the thing for a cold night.

It was SO FREEKING COLD this morning. I had to feed this morning because my husband had a slab he was pouring. I went outside with my fleece pullover thinking I'd be warm. Well, as soon as I loaded up feed on the4 wheeler and started for the pasture, I realized just how cold it was!! That wind was going right through the fleece! Now, for the picture...close your eyes...I might as well of been naked on the 4 wheeler for how cold it felt!! Ok, open eyes and do a "yucky" shiver, because that would NOT be a pretty picture!!! After feeding, I ran to the house, so my hands would be nice and cold...went inside and then had a "laying of hands" on my boys!!!! YESSS!!!!! Lots of yells and MOOOOMMMMMM!!!! It's those little things in life...Nothing like freezing cold hands on the face with me asking them if my hands were cold...

Lol the porch weapon is for the intruder to have a fighting chance my uncle used to say lol

Hahaha @ saving baby vermin! I always rescue baby babies...send them back into the wilderness when ok ...but I warn them! Best stay at the neighbors, I have no sympathy for grown vermin lol makes hubby crazy

Believe it or not, I kinda like seeing the critters. Keeps me current on my practice shooting hours. It was a little nippy out this morning. I've been sipping on my muscadine wine the last few nights. :drool
