Reminds me when I had my dog. We would go riding and towards the end of the ride when we were about 1 mile from the house, I would stop my car. I would look over at my dog and say, "You ready"? And she knew what that meant. I would open the door and she would jump out of the car and I would take off. She would chase my car all the way home.She would make it home a few minutes after me and her face would be full of split and slob. She would plop down on the ground and breath like a mad dog until she caught her breath. She loved doing that. *sigh* the good ole days when my dog was alive.
You have GREAT memories of her. Did she ever tangle with a skunk? My street dog (boxer/lab) Millie ALWAYS messes with skunks!!!!! I've got a great homemade skunk shampoo remedy if anyone ever needs it. YOU NEED ANOTHER DOG!!!! It's time to start making some new memories.

My other 2 are rescues. One was found in my aunts pastures, she was fully grown. Poor thing was skin and bones. The other I just got 5mo ago. Someone dumped him in by one of our cow pastures, he was only 4 weeks old. How could anyone leave this sad little thing. He's my sidekick now and almost as big as the white Catahoula.
