I'm more upset than them after spending all the $ on costumes/glow lights lol
Ahhh....poor babies! Once things settle down, we need a bathtub picture!I have a screened coop wall on the north side because rain almost never goes in that side. Well the rain just wet the entire coop before I could close it up and my broody ran with the chicks into the flooded underside of the coop. My broody and rooster are the flightest birds I have and won't normally let me get near them until it is roosting time. I went to collect my birds and bring them in because my entire yard is flooded, the coop is soaking wet, and we are under a tornado warning right now. Would you believe it, they are the only ones I could catch. I yanked the chicks from under her and she roosted on my shoulder and that made him come inside to check on her. They are in the bathtub trying to warm up right now. They are 2 of my 3 favorite birds and I wasn't able to catch the third or any of the others. Here's to hoping they are all ok.
