"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Didn't you know, the best bugs are trapped in the trash! When the bugs are running low in my yard (because of the chickens) I flip a trashcan upside down and leave it for a week. After a week I remove it and my chickens have a lovely ant pile to eat up. They love it and I still can't understand why.

My chickens always follow me to the trash can I keep in the chicken yard. A few time there were black soldier fly larvae in there and they have never forgotten that. Not so dumb.

Well, I only lost one hen to fowl pox... Everybody is healed up and decided to let the quarantines free. They were soooo happy, running around, rolling and throwing dirt. Not really any introduction problems either. Glad to be done with that!!!

I ran track in High School but if you see me running now something is wrong & you should follow me! BEFORE TURK GETS YOU! LOL As for cooking deer meat I cook it the same way I cook my beef. The only thing I do different is marinate it over night in either wine or whiskey. I love cooking deer roast in my crock pot.
