Yeah the girl(Kat?) that just got kicked off the Voice sang that last week she rocked the house with it(Sail) IMO at least I thought so but this week she didn't cover Pat Benatar's (We Belong) too good so America kicked her off, I thought she'd went further myself.

Thanks! I am a sponge for knowledge, no worries! We actually debated that quite a bit and were worried about broken feet from getting stuck.

We have rabbits and that's their bottom. When we had to set up a cage for a baby rabbit, we took another sheet of wire and set it to make the holes 1/2 by 1/2 and ziptied it together well to prevent pinching.
Im keeping an eye on them getting around. Their feet are a lot bigger than I thought lol they're almost all feet at the moment thank goodness. I did lay down a newspaper in one spot, so far they're doing well. Winding down from the ride.

Nice brooder box but for a word of caution (it won't matter much on these guys here) but if you get chicks you are planning on rearing and keeping I'd cover that rabbit wire bottom with 1/4" hardware cloth this is to keep for getting crooked toes they will get better grip/traction on it and therefore strengthen those muscles needed for proper toe structure/development. + less chance of breaking toes or feet getting run through and hang ups(a chick can become maimed in just short time of being in distress) is all other than that I like it. not trying to be a "nowitall" just friendly experienced advice.

Yep, you are surely right. I experienced that about 2 years ago when I had a lone poult on a wire bottom. His toes are crooked-er than a politician. I learned my lesson with putting them on wire bottom only. Now I place this rubber shelf lining on the wire bottom so they have something to walk on that is not so hard on their feet. No more crooked toes after that. And the good thing about the lining, is I can take it out, hose it down, let it dry off for 5 minutes and re-use.

They have work release programs they could start paying while in jail. They need a in house work program. It's another system that's broken and needs change. I think jail should have some kind of work for the workforce they house. We should not have to use tax dollars for prison it should be self supporting. Manufacture a product or factory of some kind where they earn money to help the people they have harmed. They learn a skill so their is a better chance they don't wind up right back in jail when released. All the jobs that are now in Mexico and other countries because of cheep labor. I think the prisons should be that labor force. Hardly anything is made in America anymore.Pam

That just makes so much sense Pam. It would solve so many problems and be just. Too bad the system doesn't work that way.

I candled my RIR eggs last night but they were clear and then one exploded when I went to put it back in the bator, and cracked the one next to it, so I had an epic hot mess to clean up. I pitched everything & put the bator up. I’m done. Maybe next spring I’ll try again. Right now just want to hunker down & get through this sinus thing I’ve got and the cold front coming in. I’m sad & depressed & can’t breathe. TGIF.
