"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

My SIL Clint called from New Orleans. Thrilled that the Calvary Baptist team took state championship. Biggest grin ever.

And daughter Aimee will be glad it's over. All the coaches sent their dogs to her boarding shop and she's just got a tiny shop with 14 dogs . Massive.

Thanks. I'm hoping she's hiding somewhere. The owners of the dog don't care. I'm going to check with the police dept tomorrow to find out what I can do about it. There's 3 people that just let their dogs run free.

Wow I've been lucky with neighbors. I'm so sorry to hear this.I'm sure you have some kind of leash law. I've had possom attacks when I couldn't find two hens. They were hiding somtimes you get lucky you might find her tomorrow I hope. Pam

I've seen that show but not in a long time, and they do great work for pittbulls, but I do not recall her saying pittbulls were the problem, or did I miss that?

Nope I was fixing to rant about dogs are only destrutive when they don't get the attention they need and deserve.Someone should treat them like they treat their dog. O. K now i got it out of both our systems. Pam :rant

I took this picture while one of the neighbors dogs was on my sister-in-laws porch. Unfortunately it does not accurately show the true level of emaciation due to the dogs color, wall color and lighting. And yes, this is a pittbull (mind reader 173rd?) This is the first dog they got. The dog was ignored utterly and already causing trouble. Then one day *poof* there were 3 more dogs. Not puppies. Dogs. So then we had trouble with 4 dogs. Then one of those dogs got pregnant and had puppies. The dogs, allowed to run loose often slept in the road - particularly the mother. The mother and all puppies but one vanished eventually. The dogs regularly SHREDDED our garbage (2-3 times a week). The owners knew it was their dogs and never even attempted to help with the damage. The dogs were clearly starved so it's not surprising they were doing this. It was the owners fault who refused to admit wrongdoing. They came over chased my cats and attempted to get in my chicken pen regularly(when Angel wasn't looking). They pushed open my sister in laws home and tore up her kitchen. One day I decided I should start taking pictures and calling animal control every time they stepped foot out of their yard (non-stop). After that day a few weeks ago they have been gone - the older ones. A huge relief. I haven't lost any animals but that level of worry was wearisome. We may have been forced to SSS soon. My dog knows her job is to protect her land, animals, and people. These dogs posed a threat and she was getting increasingly aggressive about their trespassing. The last time I had to use all of my strength to keep her from lunging out the front door and push her in the bathroom to call animal control. This is not a mean dog. She is often a "chicken" lol. They have just pushed her buttons too many times. The puppy is still there but only caused trouble with the adults. Only time will tell what will happen to him. He is very skittish. Probably never been pet or loved.

That dog pictured should be enough to seize him poor things...sorry you have to deal with these people :( sux.

Maybe they were seized, or turned over or captured. I don't know. I took long enough for animal control to do something! They were called enough times about those dogs. So much that all you had to say was my road name and they automatically knew where to go.

They should put the owners in jail for neglact. An save these poor animals that with some love and attention would be great loyal companions.Pam
