Anyone have any advise for a "newbie" in the incubator dept? We are setting up our Hov, still air with turner tonight. It seems pretty easy and self explanatory.......but it never hurts to hear what the experienced have to say. I am a bit nervous.

Angelic Is I. Mwahahaha
My horns hold up my halo O:)

I was going to try and be witty so I started it like that...then got interrupted at work (i know the nerve right?! ) and had to post and come back lol

Hasn't your boss learned the biggest LA-yer rule?? Shall NOT interrupt momentum on the thread. Lol

First of all with still air you will need to keep a higher temp. to compensate for heat layers. Aim for 101.5 or so. Second, make absolutely sure your thermometer is correct, especially if it came with the incubator. Make sure it is in a draft-free area and watch it well at first to see how outside temps. effect it especially with this crazy fluctuating La weather.
