"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Yea!! I walked/ran 3.4 miles today so now I know what 5k feels like. My program is run 5 minutes walk 3 minutes. Now, I use the term"run" loosely. It really isn't a jog so much as a slog. So I slog/walk. Lol. I signed up for the St. Patrick's 5k so I will be working on it. I still won't be able to slog the whole thing, but I'll finish.

One of my old roosters babies just decided to crow today! Sounds just like his dad did, I love that crow. I was thinking I would have to give him his own yard and girls since my girls pecked him pretty bad when he was a month old. I had to bring him in then to heal and his rose comb is just now growing back from it. This new rooster seems to like him a lot though and won't let a hen peck him. The "mean" rooster I have now had his wing over the small one and was teaching him how to crow, it was so cute!

Congrats! I bet you will sleep good tonight!

You hit it on the nail. That is a great story. They are so lucky to have such a great Daddy and Mommy like the both of you. We need more men and women like the both of you.

Your kids will definitely be encouragers. You all are planting the seed in them at a young age and that's all they need. Great job!!!

Thanks! I don't know if I would go so far as to say I am a "great Mom", hahaha!!!!! It does seem strange that we don't get an instruction manual with kids or have to take classes before ppl can have kids

But I do my best and these kids sure have taught me a lot about life and a lot about myself too.

You'll make it! Your made of steel!!:thumbsup

I noticed some white on Selena's comb. It isn't raised like a sore at all. When I scrape it with my fingernail it flakes more or less off.
What do you think.
