"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Here is the guest house above the garage.

My iras are starting to bloom.
Pretty flowers! What is that kind of iris called? We rescued some of that kind a few years back and I don't know what to call them.
I was thinking they are Louisiana Irises

Oh my! Yes, details! I am picturing a roo at the wheel!!! LOL!!!

I am so proud of you Lemon. Kind hands are so cool.

Thank you and everyone else for your kind comments.

The nuggets do love their belly rubs. But they don't really care to be picked up anymore, since they are so big. So I put the cone into a black garbage bag. I just kind of walked the nugget to the cone and tucked its head into the cone and then picked up the cone. The sweet thing was not bothered by it at ALL and didn't make any noise!! I guess because it was dark and it was able to walk into it on its own. Part of the reason we raised chickens to begin with was because we don't like the way they are handled commercially, for eggs or meat. So having it go to freezerland in such a peaceful way was in line with all of what we try to do.

The rest of the nuggets are putting on weight fast. So we might go ahead and do a couple more when Hub gets back from working in Baton Rouge this weekend.

I've always known them as native LA. Iris's they grow wild in ditches etc. I have them in purple, yellow, and a wine color. Two years ago one came up and bloomed white. I have never seen them in white and I never planted a white one.It has come back every year. I also have one that is dark blue.
I have the othe kind in blues and purple too I just planted them. I have a lot of butterfly iris that I need to break up this year.Pam

I could see if he could just come to you and get it. The first thought that crosses my mind........if comes and sees your bunnies he would end up coming home with some, lol! He would love to see your set up. His family raised meat rabbits when he was growing up and he wants to again.

Usually he tandem drives with at least another driver with truck and the other one has a trailer with all their stuff from the conference.
