"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

That sounds like the size of my coop. Mine only sleep in it and it would be small quarters and too hot for anything but sleeping. I have 5 and I have 2 coops. You cannot put 7 in there. I have 4 in one and Primrose in the other only bec the 4 are in two pairs that don't want to be separated. The Black ones will beat up Prim at night in the coop and Prim will beat up the babies at night in the coop and they are terrified of her. You will find that they will pick their friends and coop, but I would DEFINATELY get another one. You also may need to switch them around at night depending on what you come to know about them in a coop together. There is always come drama amoung a group of girls. Lol. Also agree to wait to be sure how many you actually end up with before you buy another coop. Here are my two coops.

The new chickies will probably be here tomorrow morning. My "old" chicks are not even a full week old yet (I think they might turn one week tomorrow, actually). Can I put the little newbies in with my original four? Or should I use a separate space?

I am selling marans (black copper cukoo and blues) PM me if interested southwest Louisiana

I have put layer chicks in together less than 2 weeks old ordered from the same place. Never had an issue, but I do keep a close eye on them.
If I am buying from 2 different places or breeders, I brood separate for health watch.

Great! They are from the same place. I'll watch how they act around each other in the morning.
