"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Since I need to move position of my eggs in this still air incubator I candle at even day 5. With my cell phone flashlight I can easily see embryos in most eggshells. I just observe the air cells since I handle the eggs eve ry couple of days and see if they are growing at a good rate. I didn't mark any of them this time. I didn't see the point in keeping the eggs out of the incubator that long.

I've got one of these coming. It's the same brand and company as the one used in my bator. http://www.cooper-atkins.com/Produc...ngular_Temp_and_Humidity_Panel_Therm_PMRH120/
I'll have to drill a whole in the cabinet to get the sensor inside. Hopefully it will read close to the other gauges. If not I can use it somewhere else.
I've searched on the net high and low to find a high quality thermo/hygro but most seem to be in the same price range and seem to be cheap.
I'm beginning to think there is not one made. The type of instruments change as accuracy goes up.

So Lemon going by what your saying if I have an egg that is hard to tell which end is bigger. I need to mark it to check when candling. Would day 7 be too late to turn right side up?

I would think that should work. But I don't consider myself an expert by any means. But I would think the sooner the better.

Amazingly my upside down chick is doing better. Lifting it's head and opening its eyes. Kind of shocked. I won't be hand feeding it, so it better man up, lol.

I'm so glad! I've had a 1.5 degree difference between the top of the turner and the top of the egg. I've been running stable for a while, now. I haven't touched it in days!
