I agree one poulet. And one roo love their color. I ended up with 10 Bresse and 2 Isbars. I will go one or two days past hatch day. If I see no life I quit. These hatched over 3 days. This was a strange hatch for me. I always open up unhatched eggs. Four weren't fertilized . Four died in eggs some fully formed. Some were in distress and would die without me helping them hatch. I think the problem was humidity during lock down I couldn't get it to stay up I could get it to 50% but it wouldn't stay. Next hatch I'll use a sponge. Pam

10 fresh Bresse should be nice! Also i have to take pics of Isbars, i hope your as lucky as i was! A pair im pretty sure im sorry your hatch was nerve racking i know assisting is Hard. Ive only assisted externally pipped ducks, and even then only the malpositioned ones. I had 6 mals in my duck hatch and it was Terrible! A sponge is exactly the way to fix your humidity problem! Better hatchs in the future

These are the newest addition to our flock. We have three hens and one roo. They are buff laced polish. They are supposed to be 14 months old but none of the hens have laid since we got them a few weeks ago.

I've been busy with family and work. My mother had a stroke in her eye Wednesday so we're doing the doctor thing. Hopefully we will have some answers next week.

We have been working on our breeding coops. This wonderful weather is letting us get alot done.

Storm we had the other night, underneath you can see our dog kennels smashed. We gratefully lost No animals They are homeless for a few days though, guineas just moved into the trees lol

I had a migraine last night so i didnt candle and pull weights untill this AM. Aircells look alot better than they did before, they were large last time, and i havent tweaked it, But they corrected anyway!

I use this as a guide to where they should be

Half the FBCM look questionable now

Thanks! I seldom have a headache that'll take me down but i couldnt think past that thing last night.

I did pull One CMs egg, but everything looks really good its gonna be a stellar hatch!
