"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Crack the egg all the way around by rolling it, then take a spoon, I use a ice teaspoon, and slip it under the broken shell and keep sliding it under the shell until all the shell is removed. it won't be perfect but will usually work very well.

I've got a couple interesting chicks in the bunch Turk hatched. I have a trio of silver campines that we hatched a few eggs from, 2 of the girls are golden instead of silver. See pics below.
First the adult trio.

And here are 2 of the new pullets, 1 silver, 1 golden.

Nice! Where can you buy that?

Hi all, hope everyone had a merry Christmas! I was just reading up on the pages and had to comment. You can get it from the APA American Poultry Association. The new edition will be out in 2016, I'm waiting for that one. Been out of the loop for awhile with major health issues, but I'm doing better and glad to see everyone.

We took our little one to the Louisiana arts and science museum today and saw this Christmas tree in the arts and crafts area...made from egg cartons.
