It doesn't sound bad I totally get it I would do the same not to stress out my faithful friend. I would put plastic or a water proof mattress pad where he losses control for easier clean up. I love my dogs and they are family members. This will give you time to plan your house. Like I saw a house where the owners built custom entertainment center, they put two built in crates for their dogs. I'm sure you have already thought all about it. Take as you go pics please. Another thing we did was take pics of all pluming and electric so it there is ever a problem it's easier to pinpoint where it is.
Do you keep bees? I can't wait to put it together. I get my bees this month. Good to know your still hanging around with us. Pam

No I don't keep bees but have always thought it's interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing about yours and seeing pics though.

Good looking babies! What are they?

Svart Honas, Orust, East Freision gulls they are all on the critically endangered list. All worth saving all were hatched with ease. I guess due to war etc. they were almost extinct they are pretty hardy in my opinion. Pam

Those are Orust the best thing is the hens have the same coloring as the roosters. Pam

I'm finally getting a nice assortment of egg colors.

One of my cuckoo marans laid this monster today. Bet she has a sore bottom.

No I don't keep bees but have always thought it's interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing about yours and seeing pics though.

There will be plenty of pics and videos putting it together to installing bees and robbing the honey. I had them before Katrina but they left due to flooding. So I'm excited to have them again. This will be a lot easier. Pam

Oh Pam I meant to tell you. I think one of my Barbezieux pullets is trying to go broody. Yesterday evening she stayed in the nest box instead of getting on the roost and is sitting on a empty nest after I pull the eggs out from under her. I still have the females separated from the males.

Maybe let one mate then you have replacements for the ones you eat or sell them as hatching eggs. Pam
