I stopped getting hona eggs for awhile, then I found the hen's secret nest.
Guess she decided the coop was too crowded with all those juvies. I'm going to sell some pairs just as soon as I decide which roos to keep. One that I liked has a weird little knob on his comb. :/[/quote]
NPIP is easy they Will have you hold your bird while they take blood from under the wing they will test for mioroplasm. Then the will swab a few mouths for bird flew. He should give you a book of forms to ship out of state. If he for gets be sure to remind him. He will also show you how to fill them out and give you a book of numbers of other states. Be sure to get it all. When you ship you need to call the state your shipping to and meet their requirements too. Pam

Good here, getting ready for summer. I have my NPIP inspection next week and I'm nervous about that. The state vet had no probs with birds from non-NPIP sources (so long as they were properly quarantined) and no probs with the free range guineas. The guy I talked to today didn't seem keen on either of those... Guess we'll see.
I've got cute little fluff butts hatching! All sorts of mixes.![]()
