"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I moved my 2 bantam chicks outside last week, poor things must be thinking, "These psychos want us to live in this crap?" Their feathered feet are no match for LA summer weather.
I always feel so bad when I move my chicks out for the first time and they have to experience the crazy bipolar Louisiana weather for the first time. Then when I walk over to check on them I swear I get these terrifying murderous stares from them 🤣

New young Marans from afieldssnowyegger!
Looks like 2 definitely girls, 3 definitely NOT girls and one undecided but probably male...
At least 1 male, probably 2, will be headed to Clinton, LA, to my ex's coop. My daughter decided he needs them. She has some seriously cute Polish and Silkie youngsters.
Attached are pix, including one of Alaska the dog helping and my other chickens watching and last is the chicks I ordered in the pen while I clean their brooder.

Update on the French Black Copper Marans: Still looks like 3 cockerels, 2 hens and one that is probably a cockerel but may surprise me...
Anyway. This evening they found a big wiggly earthworm. First they all ran off like a bunch of chickens. I poked it a little closer and finally the male with the biggest comb pecked it in half and ran off with his prize. Instead of one of the others grabbing the rest of the still wiggling worm, they all took off after the first one. So half the worm survived.
They are roosting on top of the chick house at night.
