Had to jerry rig some scaffolding to support my weight while screwing down the mesh on top. Wasn’t for sure it would hold but it did….

We had a bad storm come through last night and the temp dropped from 95 to 80 in like 40mins. The chicks did not like that at all. They were loud and erratic. The heating pad was working but couldn’t catch up to the sudden decrease in temp so daughter and I moved them to the garage where it was much warmer and no wind. Just crazy how you can feel the sudden temp change like that.

-Speckled Sussex
-Golden Laced Wyandotte
-Silver Laced Wyandotte
-Easter Egger
-Sapphire Splash

I think I have the Sapphire Splash, SLW, GLW.
I can’t place the Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex, FBCM.





1. Brown with a dark brown strips down back





2. Light brown with a brown strip down back





3. Black with white



4. Black gray with silver strips down back



5. Bluish white




6. Black grey with no strips of color

I'm gonna guess at the maran and say it's the one with the red stuff on it?

And EE's can be any color, so...

Idk….I just changed it out and noticed the little black and white one has feathers on his legs. I believe that would be the FBCM

Im terrible with chicks. Lol. Only ones i can easily identify are easters as tehy always chipmunk,

If from my own flock i can kinda tell whos who by what color egg hatch also
