Who's ready for the Saint's game? I'm so glad I have a reason to be excited about pro-football. I'm usually so sad after LSU's season is over!

ME!!!! We are a HUGE football family here. I'm with on the LSU thing though...hate to see football season end. My husband's friends freak when they learn that I'm the football nut in the house! GEAUX SAINTS!!!

My husband and I are the same way. I went to LSU and my dad played for LSU so they are kinda in my blood.

I am counting down and loosing sleep over this upcoming game LOL Ya'll do understand that if they win...there is gonna be one huge party in NO for the next month if not longer...Superbowl is the week b4 Mardi Gras?!?!?!

We not only are pulling for the Saints, but my husband is from Wisconsin originally--for our 25th wedding anniversary we went to a game at Lambeau Field to watch the Pack & Bret Favre---well, you all know how THAT story goes, so needless to say--we have a whole slew of family up in WI who are also rooting for the Saints this weekend, lol!!

Plugging in my 'bator tomorrow to fire up for the first time this year. Have Blue Rock eggs from Halo coming next week plus my first test hatch from my own Welsummers, EEs (olive egger offspring since they are crossed on my Wellie roo) and Blue Andalusians. YAY!!!

Have a friend from Canada who will be visiting next weekend & hopefully we'll be able to get her on a hot air balloon flight (my husband's best friend has been a balloonist for many years) & then my other good friend from New York will be flying in on the 19th of Feb to be here for the first hatch of the year! She is lobbying her town council to permit her to keep 3 hens--and they'll be some of mine when that happens! I ship her 'eating eggs' every month. We get the Yanks ever year about this time before they get cabin fever from all the snow & ice & cold in their part of the country, lol.

I was informed today that I get to go back to work full time Feb 1st --WHOO-HOOO!! will miss the time at home but love the full paycheck, esp. since my husband got laid off in Dec.

Time to start the seeds in the greenhouse for the summer garden. The warm weather is right around the corner!! Life is Good!
