I haven't checked into this thread in a very long time. I just want to say hi, I have gone completely overboard with chickens and welcome to the newbies!

How's everybody doing? Been busy here putting up pickles, first tomatoes & beans coming in, mayhaw jelly to put up (ran out of time so froze the juice for now)-- sold 9 pullets and today have somebody coming to pick up my extra EIGHT roos! - whoo-hoooo!!! so am happy to have my flock down to a more manageable size. The bator is locked up for the year and my six chicklets (month old BBS Ameracaunas) are moved outside into the chicken tractor.

Awesome! You'll have fun! My first job was at a snowcone stand. One of the managers would really get worked up when the line of cars would get long. He would start fussing and hitting the stainless steel table. I though he was silly. I mean, we were making snowcones, not saving lives!!!
